» Kawaii_Eggs - Can someone tell me about my dream and what happened afterwards?

About an hour ago I was asleep, and I had this terrible dream. It's as follows:
I'm sitting in a hotel room with an unidentified friend, and suddenly the bed I'm sitting on begins to peel off from the wall; it's not solid anymore. I jump off and watch it dissappear, and to both of our surprise, there's a huge pool of blood underneath the bed littered bones and body parts.
The next part is a little hazy, but then me and my friend are in a flooded room, passed out in the water, and we keep getting flashes of terrible homocidal acts. Such as [if you have a weak stomach don't read this] little girls tied to chairs having holes drilled in them, people locked in cells with human heads covering the ground, people being executed in santa outfits, people underground in cells being tortured with numerous instruments....My friend and I wake up, screaming terribley and someone drags us out of the pool.
Once again, I don't remember the next part of the dream, but I remember for some reason afterwards we're back in the flooded room and we're trying to stay awake but we're really faint, and then I pass out and the flashes of torture come back again, and I woke up just as I was about to become one of the people I saw while I was unconscious.

So, I woke up at about 2:15am, got out of my bed and I couldn't move. I started crying and hyperventilating and I felt as though if I was to walk anywhere in the darkness, I would go back into my dream [I have a mental disorder and one of the numerous symptoms is that I find it very difficult to tell the difference between dream and reality]. I went upstairs and turned on all the lights, and was crying and almost being sick for about 20 minutes before I woke my dad up with my crying, and he calmed me down, and he thinks I'm asleep now.

I know it's a very long post but I need someone to tell me why I had such a terrible dream, and, was what I had afterwards a panic attack? Anxiety runs in my family but I've never been diagnosed with it or anything so I have no idea what happened to me.
Nothing traumatic has happened to me recently, I haven't watched any horror movies or anything. I can't understand my dream or my reaction to it [which I now know was totally irrational], and I can't call anyone about it because of the time.
Can someone please tell me what happened?
If it helps, I'm 14, female, I'm on anti-depressants [which I accidentally skipped two days in a row this week, but that's happened before and it was fine], have Depersonalisation, and as I said, anxiety runs in my family.
Any explanation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.
