I'm very worried with my older sister she is 40 years old and has become depressed and drinking until she blacks out. She just mentioned yesterday she wishes she would die! It breaks my heart to hear this she is married and has two sons a 19 year old and a 13 year old. She said they would be fine without her. She even said she recently heard of a friends sister dying in her sleep and she told them i wish that would've been herself! Someone please advise! I live in Florida and she lives in Pennsylvannia. She is constantly crying and says doesn't even know why? Any suggestions? Thank you, Heartbroken Sister.

Do you know anyone who lives near your sister, who can look in on her? She may be depressed; going to a doctor, even the family doctor, could help a great deal. She needs help - and if she isn't motivated to go get it herself, maybe you could visit her? Her kids must be suffering too, since if mom isn't healthy, the family may not be happy.

Is your sister okay? If not, she really needs to face the heart of the matter. Maybe her family is not treating her the way she wishes to be treated. I suggest sending her a CD or book written by Dr. Wayne Dyer, he is an incredible man who has helped millions - including me - and although they may sound like self-help audio books, they are subtle in their approach.
Hope this helps,
Regards

I hope you're still here.

I know someone who seems to be a little like your older sister.

Maybe we can share some experiences that may help us and provide us with some useful answers?
