The person who claims to have no regrets may simply place past follies of thought or deed, in a healthy context to what is needed now. Or has no insight? Or is sociopathic. So, when a person says to me they have no regrets, it gives my potentially judgemental mind, room to move. happy

Frank did it his way as a means to minimising 'regret' in his life and Edith's entreaties sure resonated with me. Given the six definitions in my dictionary, maybe 'regret' is all about degrees.
