» Feature Writer Laurie Pawlik-Kienlen - new article in Protestantism

I thought I'd shake things up a little over there in the Protestant site! So I dropped a bomb (not the kind that literally smells). http://protestantism.suite101.com/articl...
Although who knows, maybe it's just a yawn.

Hi Laurie. Interesting article. There's probably many ways to tackle it. Are they inverted prayers...and we all have to be careful of what we wish for?

But I did not see any 'start a discussion' link set-up for your article.

» Feature Writer Laurie Pawlik-Kienlen - Here's a Discussion Link

The discussion links at the end of the articles (or lack thereof) are an ongoing monkey on our backs! What a pain...I'll email the help desk...When someone starts a discussion at the end of the article, it just stays there -- which means that if you want to keep checking it, you have to click on the article. hmmm....I wonder if that's deliberate or a mistake in programming?

» Feature Writer Laurie Pawlik-Kienlen - I got all the answers!

In response to Here's a Discussion Link posted by pink101:

Okay, I learned that when I as a Feature Writer write an article for a different topic, there is never a discussion link.

And the computer techs have been struggling with the discussion links problems for awhile now; when they fix one thing, another thing goes wonky (kind of like life in general!). So patience is the secret password.
