In response to anxiety disorders common posted by LauriePK:

"Didn't Tom Cruise give his two cents about depression, too?"

As a Scientologist, he went against mainstream medical opinion on mental illhealth...and probably fed stigma.

While I understand religion's contentious mixed contributions to mental ill-health, I'm not persuaded that Scientology holds value-added answers.
