It's around 32 degrees C here...the tailend of summer allegedly but no cool (or wet) weather expected yet. Apart from the deluge the other day, we remain in our longest drought and we've tended to forget we're the driest inhabitated continent on Earth.

Water..recycled sewerage or desalinated the big topic for the elections. And talking of taking things for granted, Laurie, this wet stuff we've called drinking water...used to clean industry and hose footpaths etc, has been taken for granted for too long, we're only now planning to secure its supply. Well, many here in this laid back country will keep wasting it until the government solves whatever problem they claim exists. The tap still works...don't fix what aint broke. ABC
