I know little or nothing about Australia except that any Ozzie I've ever heard has a strange accent. An ancestor went there to seek his fortune and I guess he found it.

For some reason I cannot recall I have been under the impression that both Canada and Australia had broken all their connections to the monarchy. Maybe you'd be kind enough to enlighten me about what it means to be under the influence of the Tudors or whatever their family name is? We hear that the queen is only for show and that she has no influence on the government whatsoever. Is that wrong or not?

You say your democracy is better than ours. That wouldn't be hard. But, how do you mean that? I'm truly interested.
