I send Valentines without fear or favour far closer to the date if posting by snail mail..otherwise on the actual date. See, this is where I need to always re-read posts by those from the USA. Posters always telling me what they're not saying. ABC

Valentine's Day was one of the holy days for my dear late wife. Nowadays, like Christmas etc where everyone is eligible to get a card, it seems to have lost much of its aura.
